On September 19, the 5th Yangtze River Delta CFO Forum, themed "Digital Intelligence · Global · Symbiosis," was successfully held in Suzhou. The forum brought together CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Finance Directors, and other financial decision-makers from listed companies, pre-IPO companies, unicorn companies, and foreign-invested enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region. They engaged in in-depth discussions on core topics such as financial strategy amid global economic divergence, AI intelligence and financial transformation, and asset empowerment and the multidimensional value of CFOs.

i-Search was invited to participate in this industry event. Li Bo, General Manager of the Solutions Department and Head of the AI Transformation Committee at i-Search, delivered a keynote speech titled "AI Agent: Reconstructing Financial Productivity," sharing real-world enterprise implementation practices and discussing the transformation direction of finance organizations in the era of intelligent agents with attending financial executives.

**I. Work Models Are Undergoing Fundamental Changes**

In his speech, Li Bo pointed out that enterprise work models are evolving through three stages: from "humans using software" to "AI operating software," and then to "humans managing AI employees." In the past, people searched for information, learned software, and performed operations; now, AI understands goals, operates software, and completes tasks; in the future, people will set goals, manage AI teams, and focus on results. This shift is accelerating in the finance field.

Research data shows that AI's replacement of financial work will unfold on a large scale in the next three years: the replacement rate for invoice processing is expected to reach 98%, expense reimbursement 92%, accounts payable 90%, financial shared services centers 85%, general ledger and reconciliation 75%, and tax filing 70%. The role of finance personnel will migrate from basic accounting to financial analysis, strategic finance, and CFO decision-making levels.

**II. Digital Employees: A Vehicle That Can Continuously Absorb AI Capability Advancements**

Li Bo proposed that digital employees are a natural vehicle for continuously absorbing AI capability advancements. The core formula is: Digital Employee = Large Model + Enterprise Knowledge + Business Systems + Tools + Process Orchestration + Permissions + Evaluation System. A true digital employee possesses seven key elements: identity, responsibilities, knowledge, skills, permissions, decision boundaries, and execution capabilities. It can continuously execute tasks across systems and independently complete process loops under established permissions and rule constraints.

Personal AI assistants solve "human efficiency improvement," while i-Search solves "process automation." The two are complementary rather than substitutive. Once a process crosses departmental and system boundaries, it requires enterprise-level automation capabilities with three stability pillars: determinism, traceability, and takeover capability.

**III. Enterprise-Level Agentic Automation Platform: From Employee Assistant to Digital Employee**

Based on this, Li Bo introduced two core product capabilities of the i-Search Enterprise-Level Agentic Automation Platform:

**Magical Automator**, an AI-native next-generation automation development tool, covers the complete intelligent agent chain from dialogue, exploration, development, trial-run verification, delivery, operation, self-healing, to accumulation. Finance personnel can automatically generate runnable processes by describing business needs in natural language. When system pages change, the intelligent agent autonomously replans paths to complete process self-healing. Mature business processes can also be encapsulated into reusable Skills, quickly responding to temporary high-frequency financial tasks such as month-end closing and tax filing.

**DocAgent (Document Processing Agent)** is designed for massive unstructured financial documents such as invoices, bank receipts, procurement contracts, statements, and customs declarations. It completes the full-chain processing of document collection, classification, cross-page table extraction, information verification, and data return to business systems, connecting end-to-end financial processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and contract management, resolving the real pain points of large document processing volumes, manual errors, and delays.

**IV. Financial Digital Employees: From Process-Oriented to Role-Oriented**

For financial business scenarios, i-Search has built a financial digital employee system centered on the Finance Orchestrator (Chief Financial Scheduling Agent), covering eight major categories of digital employees: expense reimbursement, accounts payable shared services, accounts receivable shared services, general ledger shared services, asset and cost, tax shared services, business analysis, and shared services operations. Each type of digital employee corresponds to different AI task capabilities, including data access, understanding, verification, posting, reconciliation, settlement, calculation, analysis, decision-making, and governance, forming a complete architecture from capability mapping to role assumption.

To date, i-Search has served thousands of enterprises, with a service matrix covering many Fortune 500 companies and large conglomerates, accumulating rich practical experience in scenarios such as financial shared services, treasury management, tax filing, and expense reimbursement.

The successful hosting of this Yangtze River Delta CFO Forum provided a high-quality platform for idea exchange and resource matching for financial decision-makers. In the future, i-Search will continue to refine enterprise-level agentic automation technology, output implementation paths adapted to financial organization transformation, and join hands with more enterprises on a new journey of AI-driven financial digital and intelligent transformation.
